The Janta Ice Cream

You can find The Janta Ice Cream on the ground floor over at Adajan Dn 18. Being right there on the ground floor makes it very easy for people to just walk right in from the sidewalk. We do not have any stairs or elevators to worry about. The shop itself is pretty basic and functional. We have the usual flavors and keep the spoons in a glass jar on the counter. It is not one of those fancy parlors with lots of decorations or bright colors. We just have the freezers and a small wooden counter where we take the money. Adajan Dn 18 is a nice enough place to be located. We get a lot of foot traffic in the late evenings when the weather cools down. I usually work the late shift myself. It is very quiet in the mornings when I am setting things up and wiping down the glass. I always check the temperatures to make sure nothing is melting inside the tubs. That would be a huge disaster for a small shop like ours. We have a small sink in the back room for washing our hands and cleaning the scoops throughout the day. The walls are painted a light color, but they could probably use a new coat of paint soon. It is just us doing our thing every day. There are no big corporate rules or manuals here. If someone is short a few coins, we usually just let it slide.
