The Baroda Hair Dressers

You can find us at Shop Number 10 in the Pathik Complex. We are located in the Athwalines area, specifically near Parle Point in Surat. Most people know the landmark near Art Light, which is right by us. The name of the shop is The Baroda Hair Dressers. It’s an old-school name for a shop that’s been around the block a few times. We don’t have a lot of modern gadgets, just the standard stuff you’d expect in a barber shop. The Pathik Complex has a few other shops, so it’s a nice little community here. We see a lot of regular customers who have been coming to Athwalines for years. It’s a bit of a routine—opening up, getting the towels ready, and watching the traffic on the main road. The light near Art Light can get pretty backed up in the evening. We don’t have any big promises or fancy slogans. We just cut hair. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, other days we don’t have time to eat lunch. It’s just how it is. We like being in this part of Surat. It feels like home to us. If you’re in Parle Point and need a trim, we’re usually there in the shop. No need for appointments or anything formal. Just walk in and see if a chair is open.
