Tawa Ice Cream

You can find us at Shop No L 2 inside Meenakshi Avenue. It’s over in Pushpakunj. We mostly do tawa ice cream, which is basically just rolling it out on the cold plate while people watch. It's a bit of work on the arms but it's what we do. The shop isn't huge, just enough space for the equipment and for folks to stand around for a minute. Meenakshi Avenue gets pretty crowded on the weekends, so it stays lively. We started this because we wanted a small spot of our own. It’s nothing too complicated. We just mix the ingredients on the spot. Sometimes the machine gets a little frosty and we have to scrape it down. People seem to like seeing how it's made right in front of them. We’re just regular folks running a small shop. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big marketing team. It’s just us and the cold plates. Pushpakunj is a nice area and we’ve gotten to know the other shop owners around here. It feels like a small community inside the building. Most days are just about keeping the fruit fresh and the milk cold. If you’re around the avenue, stop in. We’re usually there until late evening. It's a simple setup but it works for us and the people who live nearby. We just keep it honest and keep rolling.
