Style & Scissar The Unisex Salon

Style & Scissar The Unisex Salon is in Shop No 208 at Poddar Plaza. We are right on Ghoddod Main Road near the Turning Point area. Since we are a unisex salon, we get a mix of men, women, and children coming through the door. The shop is on one of the upper floors of the plaza, so you have to use the lift or the stairs to reach us. We have different sections for different services. The mirrors are quite large and we have a lot of counter space for all the various bottles and jars we use. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it clean, though hair tends to find its way into the corners. We have a few cushioned chairs for people to wait in. The atmosphere is generally busy with people coming in from the Ghoddod Road shopping area. We have several sinks for washing hair and the water is usually kept at a good temperature. It’s a bit more modern than some other shops but it’s still just a place for work. We keep the scissors sharpened and the towels fresh. The lighting is bright so we don't miss any details while we are working. We spend most of our day standing on our feet, moving between the different stations. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized but we have a routine that works for us. We just handle the appointments and walk-ins as they come.
