Study Island

Study Island is located at Bhagavati Ashish on Citylight Road. We use the units M/20 and 21. It’s a fairly well-known building in the Citylight area of Surat. We’ve been running things here for quite some time. The space is divided into a couple of rooms where we can separate the different grades. It is not a very fancy setup. We have some old desks and the lighting is just regular tube lights. We aren't trying to be a big coaching institute. It’s more of a place where kids can come and actually get their doubts cleared. We spend a lot of time just sitting with them and going through the pages of their school books. Citylight Road is always busy, but we are tucked away enough that it doesn't get too loud inside. We don't have any receptionists or marketing people. If a parent wants to talk, they just come in and find us between classes. We keep a lot of old textbooks and practice papers stacked up in the corners. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. The students are mostly from the nearby apartment buildings. We’ve grown used to the daily rhythm of the neighborhood. We just open the doors, turn on the lights, and wait for the kids to arrive. It’s a simple, honest way to run a small local business. We keep the sessions focused on what matters for the school exams.
