Star Hair Style is found at Shop No - 5 in Sanam Apartment. We are on the road that goes from Bombay Market to Puna Road. It’s a very busy stretch of road in the Varachha area. You can hear the horns and the engines all day long from inside the shop. We have been in this apartment building for a while now. The shop is quite basic with just the essential things we need for hair cutting. We don't have any big posters or fancy lights. Most of the time, it is just us and the customers talking about the weather or the traffic. The floor is almost always covered in hair because we don't always have time to sweep between every person when it's busy. Surat is a hot city, so the shop can get a bit stuffy, but we just deal with it. We open up the doors early to get some air in. Most of our customers come from the nearby buildings and they know us by name. It is a hard-working neighborhood and we try to work just as hard. We don't have a computer or any high-tech stuff for bookings, people just show up and wait their turn on the bench. By the time evening comes, the street gets even busier with everyone heading home. We stay open until late to make sure everyone who needs a haircut can get one before we finally shut down for the night.
