Star And Sitara Salon

We are located on the first floor of Surat Central. If you are standing across from the Valentine cinema on Dumas Road, you are looking right at us. Being in a mall like Surat Central is different than being in a regular street shop. There is air conditioning, which is a big plus in this city. Star And Sitara Salon has been here for a bit now. We get a mix of people—some are just shopping and decide to come in, and others come specifically for us. The vibe is a bit more modern because of the building, but we try to keep it friendly and down-to-earth. We don't want anyone to feel like they have to be fancy just to walk in. We spend our mornings setting up the stations and checking the lights. The view of Dumas Road from the first floor is actually pretty good. You can see the cars and the people heading toward the beach. It’s a busy spot, but once you are inside the salon, it feels a bit more private. We don't use big corporate slogans. We just want to do a decent job so you’ll come back next time you’re at the mall. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day, but we enjoy the company of our clients. We’re just a small team trying to make it work in a big building, and we take it one day at a time.
