Sona Dairy

We’ve been here at Sona Dairy on Varachha Road for quite a while now. Most people know us because we're right near F T Ring Road 1. Every morning starts early, usually before the sun is even up, because that’s when the fresh milk arrives and folks need it for their tea. It's a busy spot. We handle the daily rush of families coming in for their fresh packets and sometimes just a bit of curd for lunch. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular shop where you get what you need and maybe chat for a minute if it's not too crowded. The traffic on Varachha Road can get pretty loud, but we’re used to the noise by now. Sometimes we run out of certain things by the evening if it's a holiday or a festival. That’s just how it goes with fresh stock. We keep the counters wiped down and try to get everyone through the line as fast as we can so they can get home. Being at this location means we see a lot of the same faces every day. It feels good when you know who is coming in before they even open the door. We aren't trying to be anything big, just a local dairy shop that stays open and keeps the fridge stocked for the neighborhood. If you’re passing by the Ring Road, you’ll see our sign right there at number 1. The building is old and the paint is peeling in spots, but it works for us.
