We’ve been here at Shop No.10 for a while now. It's inside Apna Ghar Shopping Centre. People know the Swaminarayan Mandir nearby, so finding us on Rander Road isn't too hard. We just do hair. Most of the folks coming in are from Palanpur Patia or just around the society. It’s a small place, nothing fancy. We keep the chairs clean and the scissors sharp. Sometimes it gets busy on weekends, especially being right there in the shopping centre. We mostly talk about the neighborhood while working. We see the same faces every month. If you're walking past the temple, you’ll probably see our sign. It’s just us doing what we do. Not much else to say. We open in the morning and stay until the last customer is done. The shop is cozy. We have a regular routine here. No big flashy ads or anything like that. Just a local spot for a haircut. The fans keep it cool enough. We’ve seen kids grow up coming here. It’s a part of the daily life around Apna Ghar. We try to keep things simple. If someone wants a trim or a shave, they come in. Sometimes we have a little wait, but people don't mind chatting. That's just how it is here in Surat. It's a humble business and we like it that way. We don't have fancy titles or big meetings. We just cut hair and sweep up the floor after every person.
