Shri Ram Marble

We’ve been here at Bhimraj Village for a good while now, right near the Satsang Vihar Temple on Sarsana Ghod Road. If you’re coming this way, you’ll see our yard easily enough. It’s mostly just us and the stone. We keep a lot of marble in stock because that’s what people around here usually ask for when they’re finishing a house. It gets pretty dusty out here with the trucks coming in and out, but that’s just how the business is. We spend most of our days moving slabs around and showing people what we have available. Sometimes the stock changes fast and other times a specific batch sits for a bit. We don't really do the fancy showroom thing. It’s more of a practical setup where you can see the actual pieces you’re going to get. Most of the folks who stop by are from the nearby areas or people working on sites around the road. We just try to keep things simple. If someone needs a certain size or type of marble, we check what’s in the back. It’s hard work lifting these things, but it’s what we do. The location is quiet most mornings until the deliveries start. We’re usually around from early on, making sure everything is stacked right so nothing breaks. It’s not a complicated operation, just a local spot for stone. We’ve seen many houses go up in this area and it is nice to know some of our stone is in them. It makes the long days in the sun feel worth it.
