About Shree Shivam Marble & Granite – Building & Construction Material in Surat
Our yard is located on Udhana Magdalla Road, right at Plot Number 80. If you’ve ever driven past, you probably noticed the stacks of stone sitting out front. Moving marble and granite is heavy work, and there is always some dust in the air from cutting or just moving pieces around. We spend most of our time out there with the slabs. Every piece of stone looks a bit different, which is interesting if you think about it. Customers come by and walk between the rows to see what might look okay in their house. Sometimes it’s raining and we have to cover things up, other times the sun is just beating down on the granite. It’s a physical job and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We don’t have a flashy showroom with air conditioning. It’s more of a practical setup where we store the inventory and load it onto trucks. We use the cranes a lot because you can’t exactly lift these things by hand. Most of us have been working with stone for years, so we know the weight and how to handle it carefully so nothing cracks. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep up with the demand. The traffic on Magdalla Road can be a pain, but being right there makes it easy for deliveries to find us.
