Shree Sai Jariwala & General Store

We run Shree Sai Jariwala & General Store over in Kadodara at plot 23. It’s a bit of a mix here because we have the general grocery stuff but also some items for the local textile work people do. You’ll find spools of thread and small accessories alongside packets of biscuits and soap. The shop is quite narrow, so we have to be careful how we arrange things so people don't trip. There’s usually a pile of boxes near the door that we haven't had time to unpack yet. We open up pretty early, usually before the sun is fully up, to catch the early commuters. It’s mostly just family working here. My wife handles the front when I have to go pick up supplies from the main market. We don't use any fancy computers for our sales, just a notebook and a calculator. The paint on the walls is peeling a bit in the corners, but we haven't had the time to fix it up. Customers usually come in for one or two things and end up staying for a five-minute chat. That’s just how it is in Kadodara. We know most of the families around here. It’s a humble place, nothing special to look at, but we have what people need for their homes and their work. It gets the job done and keeps us going day after day.
