Shree Mahesh Granites & Marble

Running a stone yard like ours at 3 Dhatva in Vijay Nagar Colony involves a lot of lifting and moving. We are situated near Sarthana Jakat Naka, so there is always a bit of noise from the trucks and the traffic nearby. We deal mostly in granites and marble slabs that we keep stacked up in the yard. It is a heavy business, and you have to be careful when you are shifting these pieces because they can crack if you aren't paying attention. Most of our customers come from the nearby residential areas or are contractors working on new buildings in the colony. We spend a lot of time showing people the different colors and grains in the stone. No two slabs are ever really the same, so it takes a bit of patience to find what someone is looking for. The sun hits the yard pretty hard during the day, which makes the stone hot to the touch, so we try to get the heavy loading done early in the morning or later in the evening when it cools down. It’s just a regular local business where we know our neighbors and try to keep things running smoothly. We don't have any fancy showroom, just the materials and the space to work. The location near the Jakat Naka is handy for the delivery trucks coming in. We just focus on the work at hand and make sure the slabs are ready.
