Our place is called Shree Mahadev Stonquality Es Granite Marbles And Quantity. It’s a bit of a long name, I know, but that’s what’s on the sign. We are over at Gate No-3 in Raika State. If you are driving down Udhna Bamroli Road, you can find us pretty easily because we are right opposite Mahalaxmi Industries. It’s a busy area with lots of workshops and trucks moving around. We have a lot of marble and granite sitting out in the yard. Some of it is stacked high, and we use the crane to move the bigger pieces around when someone wants to see a specific slab. It’s dusty work and our boots are always white from the stone powder. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the heavy stuff. The office is small and usually has some papers scattered around, but we know where everything is. People come by from the local area mostly. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and we know the neighbors pretty well. Dealing with stone is what we do every day from morning until the sun goes down. It's not a flashy business. We just have a lot of stock and we spend our time cutting or loading it onto trucks. Sometimes the traffic on Udhna Bamroli Road gets backed up, but we just keep working through it. We keep a few chairs out front for when it’s quiet.
