Shree Laskshmi Dairy

Shree Laskshmi Dairy is out on the Pune Satara Road in the Palanpur area, specifically at B 4. If you are looking for us, we are the place that smells like fresh milk and curd early in the morning. Our day starts way before the sun comes up because that’s when the milk trucks arrive and we have to get everything ready for the morning rush. It’s a lot of physical work, moving heavy crates and making sure everything is kept at the right temperature. We sell the usual stuff like milk, paneer, and fresh yogurt that we set ourselves in the back. The floor is almost always a bit wet from cleaning, and there is a lot of clinking of bottles and plastic crates throughout the day. People from the nearby apartments come in with their own containers sometimes, and we’ve known many of them for years. We aren't trying to be a big supermarket or anything like that. We just want to make sure the neighborhood has fresh dairy when they need it for their tea or their cooking. Sometimes we run out of certain things by the afternoon if it’s been a busy day, but that’s just how it goes with fresh products. It’s a simple business, really. We keep the coolers running, serve the customers as they come, and try to keep things as clean as possible. It is hard work and the hours are long, but it’s a good way to live and serve the people around Satara Road.
