Adit Packaging

Adit Packaging is based at Plot No. 14, Survey No. 61/2. We are right opposite the Shree Jalaram Weigh Bridge. If you see all the big lorries lined up for the weigh bridge, you know you are in the right place. It is a noisy spot to be in because of all the engines idling across the street, but it makes it easy for our own deliveries to find us. We handle a lot of cardboard and packing materials, so the warehouse is always full of stacks reaching up to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a squeeze when a new shipment comes in. We spend our days moving boxes around and making sure everything is wrapped up right. It’s physical work and it keeps us moving. The office is just a small corner partitioned off from the main floor where we keep the records. We don't have any air conditioning, just some big old wall fans that move the air around. On hot days, we leave the big shutter doors wide open. We have been here for a while and the people at the weigh bridge are all friendly enough. It is a straightforward business. We don't have any slogans or anything like that. We just pack things up and send them where they need to go. It is a regular job and we like the routine of it. There's always tape stuck to someone's shirt by the end of the shift.
