Shree Diksha

Shree Diksha is located at B 83 in the 1st Phase of Kanakapura Main Road, right near Katargam. This whole area has changed quite a bit since we first set up our shop here. There’s always some kind of construction or roadwork happening on the main road, so it can be a real challenge to get around on certain days. Our place isn't too hard to find once you get into the 1st Phase. We spend most of our time organizing the back room and making sure all the items are exactly where they belong. It’s a very practical workspace, not some kind of fancy showroom for tourists. We deal with people coming in from all over the Katargam side. Sometimes the traffic on Kanakapura Main Road gets completely backed up, and we just watch the cars crawl by from the front window while we drink our tea. It’s a local operation, nothing too complicated or high-tech. We don't have a big website or anyone to manage social media for us. Usually, we just answer the old phone and talk to whoever happens to walk in. It gets pretty loud with the city noise, but you get used to that after a week or two of working here. We try to keep a steady routine every single day. Opening the shutters, checking the list, and getting started. It’s a solid building and we’ve made the space our own over the years. It’s a decent spot to spend the day working.
