Chelaramani Lina

My name is Lina Chelaramani and my workplace is located at 201 on the second floor of the Super Tex Tower. It’s right on Ring Road, directly opposite Kinnary Cinema. Being on the second floor means I don’t get as much walk-in traffic as the ground floor shops, but it’s a bit quieter up here away from the direct noise of the street. I still hear the horns and the shouting from the Ring Road, but it’s muffled. The tower itself is always buzzing with people going to different offices. I’ve been in this unit for a while now and I’ve got it set up just the way I like it. It’s not a very big space, but it’s enough for me to get my work done. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so I end up taking the stairs quite a bit, which is good for the legs I suppose. I don't really have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. When you walk in, you just see me and my workspace. I prefer it that way because it’s more direct. I spend most of my day here, often looking out the window at the cinema across the street when I take a small break. It’s a steady way to live and I’m used to the rhythm of this building and the people in it. It feels like home after all these years.
