Shree Devnarayan Marbles

We’ve been running Shree Devnarayan Marbles for quite some time now. Our yard is over at 35 36 Udhna Sampige Road, right near the Jogni Mata Mandir. It's a busy spot most days. We are usually just here moving slabs around or talking to people who walk in looking for something for their floors. It gets pretty dusty out here, but that is just how it goes when you work with stone all day. We keep a lot of different marble pieces stacked up against the walls. Some days are slow, and we just sit and wait for the next delivery truck to arrive. Other days, it’s a bit of a rush to get things loaded up for a customer. People usually find us because they live nearby or they’re visiting the temple and see our sign from the road. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a plain space where we keep the stock and do the paperwork. We try to keep things organized, though it's hard with all the heavy lifting and shifting involved. Usually, it's just a couple of us here making sure the yard stays in some kind of order. If you come by Udhna Sampige Road, you’ll see the stacks of marble right from the street. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but we stay right here. It’s a simple business, really. We just show people what we have in the yard. That is basically our daily life.
