Shivambhu Hospital

Our hospital is sitting right at number 68 on Rander Road. You can’t really miss us because we are directly opposite the bus stop in the Ichhapore area of Jahangirpura. Being right across from the bus stop means we get people coming in from all over the place. It’s a handy location for those who don't have their own cars. The building is a regular sort of structure that has seen a lot of patients over the years. We deal with all kinds of medical stuff here. It's not a glitzy place with marble floors or anything like that. We focus more on having enough beds and making sure the medicine cabinet is stocked. The nurses and ward boys are local people who know the language and the customs of the area. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit loud when families come to visit, but that’s just how it is in a community hospital. We don't bother with big slogans or fancy brochures. We just show up for our shifts and do the best we can for whoever walks through the door. The doctors have their own way of doing things, usually very practical and to the point.
