Shiv Fashion Jewelry

We've been here in Surat for a while now running Shiv Fashion Jewelry. It is just a small place where we keep different kinds of sets and bangles. Most people who come in are looking for something to wear for a wedding or just a small function at home. We try to keep things that look nice but don't cost too much. It's usually busy in the afternoons when the sun isn't too hot. We don't have a big fancy showroom, just our shop where we arrange everything on the counters. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit, but we get by. My brother helps me out with the customers while I look over the new stock coming in. Surat is a big hub for this kind of work, so we see a lot of people passing through every day. We don't do much fancy advertising or anything like that. Mostly people just walk in because they saw something in the window or a neighbor told them about us. It gets a bit crowded during the festival season, and we have to move boxes around to make space for everyone to stand. We just try to keep things simple and honest. If a piece isn't right, we say so. That is how we have always done things here. We're usually open until late evening unless there is a power cut or something. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the small items, but we enjoy it. The neighborhood is okay and we have good neighbors.
