Shifa Hospital

Shifa Hospital is on the first and second floors of the Aman Society 1 building in Udhna. To find us, you have to go behind the Jeevanjyot Cinema. It’s near Pushpa Nagar, so it’s a central spot for many people living around here. Since we are upstairs, people have to use the stairs or the small lift to get to us. The first floor is where most of the checkups happen. It has the main desk and some benches for waiting. The second floor has more of the beds for patients who need to stay for a night or two. Being in a society building means it feels a bit more like a home than a big institution. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood and the cinema nearby sometimes. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when there are many visitors, but we make it work somehow. The staff is mostly local people from Udhna and they talk to the patients in a friendly, normal way. We deal with various health issues that come up in the community. It’s not a place with a lot of extra space, so every room is used for something important. The lighting is bright and we try to keep things organized despite the limited room we have. People like coming here because it’s familiar and they don’t have to travel far. We just provide a place for medical care right in the heart of the society area for everyone.
