Sheta Marble

Sheta Marble is over on Dumas Road, near the Jogani Temple. We occupy spaces 8 and 12. It is a busy road with a lot of cars going by all the time. Since we deal with marble, our yard is full of heavy slabs and stone pieces. It is a lot of lifting and cutting, so the place is usually a bit messy with stone dust and water. We do not have a polished office; most of our time is spent outside or in the open shed area. It can get really hot working under the sun, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the day. The temple nearby brings a lot of people to the area, especially on certain days. We have been at this spot on Dumas Road for quite some time now. People know us for being here. We do not really do any fancy sales pitches. If someone needs a piece of stone, they come in and look at what we have in stock. Sometimes we have to wait for a truck to arrive or for someone to come help move the larger pieces. It is a hard way to earn a living but it keeps us busy. We just do our work, keep our heads down, and go home when the sun sets. There is always something to be moved or polished, so the days go by pretty fast for us.
