Sevalay Hospital

Sevalay Hospital is situated right on station road. As you can probably guess, it is a very noisy and busy place to be. There are people walking by at all hours and the sound of the trains is always in the background. We have been at this location for a long time. The building is narrow and tall, so we have to go up and down the stairs a lot. We don't have an elevator that works all the time, so it keeps us on our toes. The waiting room is right near the front door, and it gets quite drafty in the winter months. We usually keep a small heater going to keep people comfortable. It is a very practical place. We don't have any art on the walls or fancy rugs. We just have what we need to help the people who come in. Most of the folks who visit us are travelers or people who work near the station. It is a fast-paced environment because everyone is always in a rush to catch a train or get back to work. We try to be quick with the paperwork so they can get on their way. We've seen a lot of changes on station road over the years, but our little hospital has stayed pretty much the same. It is just a part of the daily life around here. Opening and closing, day in and day out, that's just how we do things.
