S-Deep Beauty Salon

S-Deep Beauty Salon is right here at Shop No.2 in Shital Park. It’s on A.K. Road near Hira Baug, right by the White House area in Surat. We open the shutters early every morning and start setting things up for the day. The mirrors get wiped down first thing because they get dusty from the road outside quite easily. There are a few chairs where people sit while they wait their turn. Most days it’s just the sound of scissors and the fan humming above us. We have been in this spot for a while now. People from around the neighborhood drop by, some just to say hello while they’re out getting their daily groceries. The floor gets swept a lot because hair piles up fast during the busy hours. We keep our towels in a neat stack by the sink. It’s not a very big place but it gets the job done. Sometimes the tea man comes by with a tray and we take a quick break between customers. The lighting inside is bright so we can see what we’re doing clearly. We have the usual stuff like combs, clips, and different kinds of creams on the shelves. It stays busy on weekends especially. You can see the traffic moving on A.K. Road through the front door. We just try to keep things moving and make sure everyone gets a seat. It’s a simple setup with everything we need to work. We don't change much around here, just keep the tools clean and the water running.
