We've been here at Shop No.2 in the Ram Nivas Building for a while now. Varachha Road is always busy, especially being right across from the Super Diamond Market. You see all kinds of people walking by all day long. It gets quite loud with the traffic, but we are used to it by now. I usually get here early to open up and sweep the front. The shop isn't huge, but it works for what we do. People from the market often drop in when they have a break. Sometimes they are in a hurry, other times they just want to sit for a bit and talk. We keep things pretty simple here. Just a few chairs and the usual tools on the counter. It is a local spot, nothing fancy or corporate. The light in the morning hits the sign just right. Most of our regulars live nearby or work in the diamond trade. We know their names and how they like their hair done. It is just a normal daily routine for us. Some days are packed and we barely have time to grab a chai, and other days it is a bit quieter. We just take it as it comes. Being on Varachha Road means there is always something happening outside the door. If you are looking for the place, just look for the Ram Nivas building near the market crossing. It is easy to find once you are in the area. We just try to do a decent job.
