Sardar Dairy Sweets

Sardar Dairy Sweets is right here on Varachha Road. To be exact, we are at 1st Main Road on the 3rd Cross in Robertson 11. It is a pretty busy spot during the day. We have to open up very early in the morning because that is when the milk deliveries arrive. If we aren't there to meet the trucks, everything gets delayed. The shop is a simple place with a few counters and some large cooling units that hum all day long. You get used to the sound after a while, but visitors sometimes notice it. People in the neighborhood come to us for their daily needs. It gets a bit crowded in the late afternoon when people are heading home from work. The floor is made of plain tiles and we have to mop it quite often because of all the footprints. We don't have any fancy decorations or marketing posters on the walls. It is just a practical space where we work. Sometimes the traffic outside on the 3rd Cross gets really loud, especially with the rickshaws honking, but that is just part of living in this area. We have been at this Robertson 11 location for years, so we know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. We just focus on keeping the shelves full and the milk cold. It is a basic business, and we just take it one day at a time without much fuss or any big plans.
