Saraswati Marble

If you are looking for Saraswati Marble, we are at U/2 in the G P Park Society. It’s right on Udhana Magdalla Road, not far from Gandhi Kutir. The yard is full of different types of stone, and there is usually a layer of dust over everything, including the old bicycle we keep out front. Moving the marble takes a lot of effort and some heavy lifting, so we’re usually pretty tired by the end of the day. The sun hits the yard directly in the afternoon, making the stone quite hot to touch. We don’t have a fancy showroom with air conditioning; we just have the slabs lined up so people can see them. Most of our day is spent helping load things onto trailers or checking the inventory against the handwritten lists we keep. The road outside is always busy with people heading toward the city, so there’s no shortage of noise. We’ve been at this location for a good while and the neighbors in G P Park Society are all familiar to us. It’s a simple business without any bells and whistles. We just focus on the marble and making sure we have enough stock for whoever walks in. It’s dusty and hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't worry about being polished or perfect, just about getting the job done right every day.
