Santkrupa Ice-Cream

The shop is tucked into Shop No-8 over in Tirupathi Society. Most people around here know Vitthal Nagar Society, so finding us isn't too hard. We are right on Lambe Hanuman Road, sitting pretty much opposite Santosh Nagar. It’s a busy part of Varachha, and the traffic outside never really seems to stop. You can hear the rickshaws and bikes all day long while we’re working inside. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop with some freezers and a counter. We spend a lot of time just checking the temperature and making sure everything stays frozen. Sometimes the power flickers, and we have to keep an eye on things. That’s just part of life here. The neighbors from the society pop in quite a bit, mostly in the evenings when it cools down a little. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just the basics. It’s a bit cramped when more than three people come in at once. We usually have the radio playing in the background, though you can barely hear it over the street noise. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. It’s a simple living. We open up, wipe down the glass, and wait for the first customer. It stays pretty consistent. Nothing too exciting happens, but we like the routine of it all. Just a local spot for people in the neighborhood who want something cold on a hot afternoon.
