Sanjay Hair Parlour

My parlour is inside Royal Plaza, over at Shop No 28 on Ved Road. We are directly across from Akhand Anand College, which means we see a lot of students hanging around. They usually come in groups, laughing and talking about their classes. It keeps the atmosphere lively inside the plaza. Ved Road is a busy place in the 395003 area of Surat. The plaza itself has many different shops, so there is always someone walking past the door. I’ve been here at number 28 for quite some time now. The shop is cozy. I have my favorite chair and the tools are always within reach. I don't believe in making things too complicated. We just offer the usual hair services that people need. Sometimes the college staff comes in too when they have a break between lectures. I like the routine of opening up, getting the water ready, and waiting for the first customer. The afternoon sun hits the plaza in a certain way, and it gets a bit warm, but the fan keeps us going. We aren't a big corporate chain or anything like that. It’s just me and maybe one other person helping out on the weekends. We know most of the people who come in by their first name. It’s a good way to make a living and stay connected to the community here on Ved Road. If you're near the college, come by and say hello.
