Sakhi Beatuy Parlour

We are tucked away in the Parshwanath Complex over on Anand Mahal Road in Adajan. The shop is DG-1, so it’s not too hard to find once you get inside the building area. Adajan is a busy place, and this road always has something going on. Our little parlor has been here for a good while. It’s a modest space, nothing too over the top. We have a couple of chairs and a small bench for people to sit on if they have to wait. Often, it’s just mothers from the nearby flats who drop in after taking their kids to school. The walls are painted a simple color, and we have some shelves for our supplies. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or use the emergency light. It’s a very local kind of place. We don’t have a big staff, so it’s usually just us handling everything from answering the phone to cleaning the floor at the end of the shift. We see a lot of the same faces every week, which is nice because it feels more like a community than just a business. The air conditioning works okay, but on the really hot Surat days, we all feel the heat a little. We just take it one person at a time and try to keep things tidy. It is just a small local shop for local people.
