Sai Krupa Hospital

Sai Krupa Hospital is situated at Avtar Residency right on Station Road Station Road. Being near the station means it is always busy around here. There are people coming and going at all hours of the day and night. We hear the trains passing by quite often. It is a sound we have grown to live with over the years. The hospital takes up a good part of the building. We have rooms for patients to stay in and a small area for emergencies. It is not a luxury place but we keep it clean. The hallways are a bit narrow so we have to be careful when moving stretchers around. We have a small kitchen area where the staff makes tea. The smell of tea and disinfectant is always in the air. We use a lot of white sheets and they are always hanging out to dry somewhere. Working on Station Road means we see all sorts of people. Some are just passing through and some live right upstairs in the residency. The elevators work most of the time but sometimes we just use the stairs to save time. It is a lot of work running a hospital in such a crowded spot. We do not have much time for sitting around. The front desk is usually piled with charts and phone messages. It is just a busy local hospital trying to keep up with the neighborhood. We stay late most nights to finish up.
