Sagar Dairy Product

The dairy is located right near Nirala House by the Rabari Colony, just off National Highway No 8. It’s a busy spot because of the highway traffic. We start early in the morning, usually before the sun is even up properly. The milk trucks come in and we have to get everything ready. We handle milk, curd, and other things people need for their kitchens. People from the colony walk over to get what they need for breakfast. It gets a bit crowded around seven or eight in the morning. We spend a lot of time cleaning the containers and making sure the floor is dry. The heat in Surat can be tough, so we have to keep the cooling units running all the time. If the power goes out, we get worried, but usually, it is fine. We have a few regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know exactly where everything is. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the products and us. The trucks on the highway make a lot of noise, but you get used to it after a few weeks. It is just honest work. We make sure the milk is fresh and move on to the next day. Sometimes we sit outside on the plastic chairs when it gets quiet in the afternoon and just watch the cars go by.
