Roopsagar Hair Saloon

The shop is located at B-54 in Swastik Society, which is part of Trikamnagar-2. We are right on L.H. Road in the Varachha area of Surat. If you know where Vikramnagar is, we are just opposite that. Varachha is a very crowded and lively part of the city. There is always something happening outside. I’ve lived in Surat my whole life, and opening this saloon was a way to stay connected to the community. We get all kinds of people coming in, from young boys wanting a new style to older men who just want their usual trim. It’s a small shop, but we have enough room for a few chairs. The society where we are located is quite old, and everyone knows each other. I start my day early, around 9 AM, to get everything ready before the first customer arrives. Sometimes it’s quiet and I just sit and watch the traffic on L.H. Road. Other times, like on Sundays, it’s so busy I don’t even have time to eat lunch. We don’t have anything fancy here, just good tools and a comfortable place to sit. I think people like that it’s a straightforward shop without any extra fuss. Surat is getting bigger every day, but Trikamnagar still feels like a small neighborhood to us. We’ve been at this address for many years now and know everyone around here by name and face.
