Roopkala Hair Cutting

Roopkala Hair Cutting is at shop number 3 in the Akshar Deep Apartment. We are situated on Palanpur Jakatnaka Road, very close to Lord Krishna School. Because we are near a school, we see a lot of students and parents throughout the day. It is a small and honest shop. We don’t have any big neon signs or anything like that, just the name on the board outside. Inside, it is quite traditional. A few chairs, some scissors, and combs. We have been cutting hair here for a long time. It is a routine for us. We start early and wait for the first customers. Usually, it is someone heading to work or a student before school starts. The space is small, so it can get tight if three or four people are waiting at the same time. We have some old magazines and a bench for people to sit on. It is not a place for a fancy makeover. It is a place for a good, standard haircut. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty because of the road work outside, but we do our best to sweep it out every hour. It is just the two of us working most of the time. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. You just walk in and if a chair is free, you sit down. It is a very old-school way of doing things.
