Reshma Beauty Parlour

Reshma Beauty Parlour is situated in Room No 2 of Kalidas Chawl. This is right on Adajan Road in Surat, specifically the 395009 area. We are in Darji Mohhala, which is directly opposite the Maithali Apartment building. The shop is quite small, being part of a chawl, but we make it work. It has a very local feel to it. You can hear the sounds of the street and the neighbors while you're getting your hair done. We've been at this Adajan Road location for many years now. People in Darji Mohhala know exactly where to find us. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and if a chair is open, you sit down. If not, there's a small space to wait. We do a lot of basic beauty work for the women in the neighborhood. It's a busy area, especially with the apartments across the street. We get all kinds of customers, from young students to older ladies who have lived in the chawl their whole lives. The space is a bit cramped when we have three or four people inside, but it makes for good conversation. It's a very practical shop. We don't use any complicated machines, just our hands and the basic tools of the trade. It’s how we've always done things here at Reshma Beauty Parlour. We might not have much room, but we stay busy every single afternoon.
