We have been at the Kanaknidhi Complex in Nanpura for a good while now. Most people find us pretty easily because we are right across the street from Gandhi Smruti Bhavan. It is a very busy part of Surat, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside our windows. We are located down on the lower ground floor in shops S-19 and 20. The space isn't huge or fancy, but we keep it tidy and ready for whoever decides to walk through the door. Some days are completely packed with people wanting a quick trim before they go to an event at the hall across the road, and other days are a lot quieter. We usually start our morning by cleaning up the chairs and getting our tools sorted out. It is mostly regular neighbors from around Timiliyawad who stop by to see us. We did not do anything special with the decor, just simple stuff that works for hair and beauty jobs. People come in, sit down in the chair, and tell us what they need done. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but inside we just focus on whatever we are doing at the time. It is a job we know how to do well enough. We try to keep the mirrors clean and the towels fresh for everyone. There is usually a bit of small talk about the weather or local news while we work. It is just how things go here at Red Cuttery.
