Raju Hair Art

Raju Hair Art is right there at the Morabhagal Cross Road on Rander Road. It’s a very busy spot in Bhagal because of the hospital nearby, Atith Hospital. There are always people walking back and forth on the sidewalk. We see a lot of different faces every single day. The shop is small but we make it work for what we need. Most of the time, I’m just standing by the chair waiting for the next person who needs a haircut or a shave. It gets a bit dusty because of the road construction and the traffic outside. We have been in this part of Surat, 395003, for quite some time now. You can hear the bikes and cars honking all day long. It's just a regular hair art shop, nothing too special to look at. We have a few mirrors and the usual tools we’ve used for years. Some customers have been coming to us since they were little kids. We talk about the weather or the local news while I work on their hair. It’s a lot of standing on your feet, but you get used to it. The crossroad stays busy until late at night. Sometimes I stay open a bit longer if there's someone still waiting on the bench. It feels like a real community around here. We know the other shop owners on Rander Road pretty well. It’s a simple life running a place like this. We just focus on the hair and making sure we don't fall behind.
