You can find Radhey Ice Cream Agency at Dr. Mansukh Lal Tower. We are situated right across from Dheeraj Sons near Athwa Gate. It’s a central spot, so there is always a lot of traffic and people moving around the tower. Being an agency means we deal with a lot of boxes and deliveries throughout the week. The mornings start early when the trucks arrive and we have to move everything into the cold storage quickly. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting crates and checking lists to make sure everything is where it should be. The area around Athwa Gate is always loud with horns and people shouting, but inside the tower, we just stick to our tasks. We don’t have a big fancy office, just a workspace that stays cold. Sometimes the elevator in the tower is slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. We know the guys at Dheeraj Sons across the way, and we see the same commuters every morning. It’s just a regular part of the city for us. We don’t do much advertising; people just know we’re here in the tower. We keep our records on paper and try to stay organized as things move in and out. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from sunrise until we close up. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure nothing melts while we are handling it. It is a noisy, busy place but we like it.
