Pyasha Spa And Salon is located on A K Road in Dharam Nagar, right in the Varachha area. If you know Surat, you know how busy Varachha Road can get. It is constant noise and people moving. Our shop is tucked in there, and it’s been our home for a while now. It isn't a massive place, just enough room for a few customers and our equipment. I think the best part about being on A K Road is that you never feel alone. There is always someone coming in to ask for directions or just to chat while they wait. We have a couple of guys working here who have been with me for years. We aren't trying to be like those big salons in the malls. We just have our own way of doing things. The floor is tile, which is easy to clean, but hair gets everywhere anyway. I usually start the morning by checking the water and making sure the towels are washed. We get a lot of workers from the local businesses around Dharam Nagar. They come in with dust on their clothes and leave looking a bit more put together. It's honest work. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use the hand fans, but that’s just life in this part of town. We keep going regardless. It is just a small business on a busy road.
