Pushpa Beauty Parlour

Down here at Bhimrad Canal Road, things move at their own pace. We are located in Shop No. F-6 within the Tirupati Shyam Villa. It’s a nice enough area in Althan. Being near the Althan Naher means there is always a bit of a breeze, which is good when Surat gets really hot in the summer. We started Pushpa Beauty Parlour because there was a need for a place nearby where people could just drop in without a lot of fuss. The shop isn't huge, but it fits what we need. We spend a lot of time cleaning the mirrors and organizing the bottles on the shelves. Sometimes the canal road gets a bit noisy with traffic, but once you are inside the villa complex, it gets quieter. We see a lot of the same faces every week. People come in after doing their shopping or before heading home. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just us working through the day, making sure the floor is swept and the chairs are ready for the next person. You can find us pretty easily if you know the Althan area. We’re just a small part of the local community here. We don't try to be something we aren't. It's a practical business for practical people. Every morning, we unlock the shutters and start the day. That is just the way it is at the shop, day after day, and we like it.
