Being on the third floor of Shree Complex in Tekrafaliya can be a bit of a climb. Especially when the elevator is acting up, which happens more than I’d like to admit. Punagam is a busy area, so there is always noise coming up from the street. Our office isn't anything special to look at. Just some desks, computers, and a lot of folders stacked up. We deal with marketing stuff, which mostly means we spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at lists. It's just a few of us here. We keep the kettle going for tea throughout the afternoon. It gets pretty hot in the summer since we are high up. We’ve been in this spot for a bit and know the other shop owners downstairs. Sometimes we get lunch together. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with glass walls or anything. We just have our space and we do our work. Some days are slow and we just chat about local news. Other days, everyone is rushing around trying to meet a deadline. We don't have some big philosophy about it. We just show up, do the tasks on the list, and go home to our families. It’s a local business run by local people who know the Punagam area well. If you come by, you’ll probably see us sorting through papers or arguing about where to order snacks from. We keep things simple and try to stay organized.
