Out in Pandesara, at B-415 in Swatantra Senani Nagar, that’s where we are. It is a bit of a walk from the main hubs, but the local people know the way. The 394221 area is a mix of homes and other small businesses. Our shop is simple. We don’t have any of those fancy chairs that massage you, just the standard ones that get the job done. It’s mostly women from the neighborhood who come by. We talk about the local news and what’s happening in the market while we work. The space is a bit small, so it gets warm when there are a few people inside. We have some posters on the walls and the usual bottles of shampoo and cream. It’s a humble place, honestly. We’ve been here in Swatantra Senani Nagar for quite some time now. You get to know everyone's family stories after a few years. It’s not like those big city salons where they don’t know your name. Here, we know who likes their coffee with extra sugar and who is in a rush to pick up their kids from school. The afternoon sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard, so we usually have the curtains drawn a bit. It’s just a regular day-to-day business. We keep things going, one customer at a time, making sure the towels are clean and the scissors are sharp. Pretty Woman Beauty World is just a small, local spot.
