Preeti Beauty Parlour & Classes

Preeti Beauty Parlour & Classes is right there at 1/455, Darji Sheri in the Nanpura area. If you know where the library is, we are directly across from it. It’s a busy little corner of Surat. I spend most of my days here, either working on someone’s hair or showing my students how to do things properly. The classes are a big part of what we do. I like passing on what I know to the younger girls. It’s not a fancy setup with leather chairs or expensive lighting. It’s just a practical space where we get the work done. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when there are three students and two customers all in at once. We just make it work. The street outside can get quite loud with the traffic, especially near the library. I’ve been in Nanpura for a long time, so I’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. My shop stays pretty much the same, though. We do all the usual stuff like threading, waxing, and bridal makeup when the season comes around. I try to be honest about what I can do. I don’t promise miracles, just a good job. We usually have the radio playing in the background to drown out the scooters outside. It’s a local place for local people. I enjoy the chat more than anything else. You hear all the news sitting in these chairs. It’s a good way to spend the day.
