Payal Art

We are located down in the lower ground of Abhinandan Market, at number 323. Ring Road is always a mess with traffic, but we’ve been here long enough that we don’t really notice the noise anymore. We’re near Hanuman Darwaja, right in the thick of the J J Market area. Our shop, Payal Art, deals with a lot of the local design needs. It’s not a huge place, but we pack a lot into it. Being in the basement means it stays a bit cooler, which is nice during the summer months. Most of the people who come to see us are regular traders from around here. We spend our days looking at patterns and colors. It gets a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in, and we have to stack things against the walls. We don’t really do fancy advertising. Most people just walk in because they were already in the market for something else. Ring Road has changed a lot since we first opened, but Abhinandan Market still feels the same. We keep the shop open late most days because that’s when the market is busiest. Sometimes we have tea with the neighbors from the other shops. It’s a good community here. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the designs look right. If you’re looking for us, just head down the stairs near the entrance. We’re usually there from morning until late evening, just working through the daily orders.
