Parth Stationery is on the Kadodara Nana Varachha Gam Road. It is a spot that sees a lot of students and parents throughout the day. We have rows of notebooks, pens of every color, and all the things kids need for their school projects. The shop is small and the aisles are tight because we try to fit so many different items in there for the neighborhood. You will find rolls of brown paper for covering books and stacks of drawing paper in the back. Sometimes the shop gets very crowded in the mornings right before school starts or in the late afternoon when classes are over. We spend a lot of time sharpening pencils or looking for a very specific type of glue that a teacher asked for. The road outside can be quite dusty, so we are always wiping down the plastic wrappers on the stationery items so they stay clean. It is a family-run kind of place, so you might see one of us eating lunch behind the counter or chatting with a neighbor who stopped by. We do not have a computer system for everything; we still do a lot of things by hand and remember the prices of most items in our heads. It is a simple life selling paper and ink. We like seeing the same faces come back every year as the kids grow up.
