Parin Beauty Parlour

If you know the Thoba Sheri area in Sagrampura, you probably know where we are. It’s an old part of Surat, and the streets are narrow, so parking a car can be a real headache. Most of our customers just walk over or come on their cycles. We are right near the Putli landmark, which everyone knows. Parin Beauty Parlour has been in this spot for a long time. The building is older, and the rooms aren't perfectly square, but it has a comfortable feel to it. We don't have those bright neon lights or anything like that. Just regular tube lights and a few mirrors that have seen a lot of faces over the years. We do a lot of basic grooming like eyebrows and simple hair trims. Sagrampura is a tight-knit community, so news travels fast here. If we do a good job on one person’s hair, their whole family shows up the next week. It can get a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting on the bench, but no one seems to mind the wait too much. We usually have the radio playing in the background to fill the silence. It’s a simple life, opening up in the morning and seeing who stops by. We don't have a website or anything, we just rely on people seeing the sign when they walk down the sheri.
