We are Western Refractories Pvt. Ltd., located at number 107 in the Sandhya Vandan Society. It’s near Palanpur Jakatnaka, right by Raj Point on Palanpur Road. This neighborhood has changed a lot since we first moved in. It used to be much quieter, but now there’s a lot more going on around us. Our work with refractories is pretty specific. It’s not the kind of thing everyone understands, but for the industries that need these materials, we’re a steady spot to get them. The office is small and we’ve lived with the same squeaky door for about three years now. We keep saying we will fix it, but somehow we never get around to it. Most of our days are spent talking to regular customers and making sure the orders are packed up correctly. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us handling the phones and the warehouse. Sometimes the Palanpur Road traffic makes deliveries a bit of a headache, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. We just take it as it comes. It’s a local operation, and we like the people in this society. We try to be good neighbors and just do our job without making too much noise or trouble for anyone else around the Jakatnaka.
