Nest Spices

We have been running Nest Spices for a while now at 39, Harinagar-1. It is a busy spot here in Udhna, and we spend most of our mornings just getting things ready for the day. We deal with all sorts of spices that people need for their kitchens. It isn’t fancy work, but it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the smell of the chillies and turmeric is so strong you can smell it from down the street. Most of the folks who stop by are locals who live nearby or have businesses in the area. We just try to get the orders sorted and packed without too much fuss. There are days when the shop gets really crowded and we have to move fast to keep up with everyone. We do our own grinding and mixing right here. It is a small place, but we have everything tucked away in the right corners. My brother and I usually handle the heavy lifting, especially when the big sacks arrive on the trucks. People know where to find us because we have been at this address for a long time. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a short break then. We aren’t trying to do anything big or complicated. We just want to make sure that when someone needs some cumin or coriander, we have it sitting right there on the shelf for them. That is basically how we spend our weeks.
