Morden Beauty Parlour

You can find Morden Beauty Parlour on the first floor of the Bajrang Kurupa Apartment. We are on Khodiyar Nagar Road, which is just off the main Varachha Road. Our building is right opposite Aswin-3, so that's the best landmark to look for if you’re trying to find us. Being on the first floor means it’s a bit quieter than the shops right on the ground level. I have to go down and check the mail every morning before I start. The apartment building is mostly residential, so it feels very private. I’ve set up the shop with a few stations for hair and other things. The lighting isn't always perfect, so I have a couple of extra lamps I move around. Varachha is a very busy part of Surat, and the traffic on the main road can be a headache, but once you’re inside the apartment, it’s not so bad. I’ve been here for a while and most of my clients are people who live in the same building or the next one over. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one near the stairs. Sometimes the fan makes a clicking sound, but it keeps us cool enough. It’s a practical space for practical work. I like that I can just lock up and be home in a few minutes. It's just a local business trying to do things right for the neighborhood and staying busy every week.
